Marcus Byczkowski at the upper tier as the day ends in the back drop.

Marcus has only been climbing for about a month and has already improved extremely well. I think sometime when people learn they’re reluctant to really listen or take in what’s being taught by more expedience climbers. But Marcus takes all help with a lot of consideration and puts it into practice straight away.

Sometimes, however it’s good to figure out things your way, like your strengths and weaknesses. I always tell people who are tall, when you’re in the gym, climb like a small person, use the bad holds, don’t start by reaching past the crux until you get outside. When it comes to a progressive sport like climbing, it doesn’t matter if your big or small, don’t cheat yourself, always learn from mistakes and never jump off.
