Me, Myself and I on some trad route that was for some reason in a bouldering guide, only really grasped the realisation when I was topping out.

I was having a little chat with a few lads I bumped into at Stanage about favorite rock to climb on; Now I’ve always been a fan of Gritstone, can’t get enough of the shit, But it’s not what I’ve climbed my hardest on. I’m probably best on sort of mountainy igneous rock… And that hurts my heart, I want to be a grit rat and slap my way up the grades that way! But sometimes you need to listen to reason over love. Or just get better at climbing on grit!

Will Murphy on the grit classic

Technical Master 6B at Millstone.

It had been a long while since i’d stepped foot at Millstone and its still as amazing as ever, the gritstone cracks really are as good as they say.

A little bit of side news, Andy is heading to font next weekend, if anyone wants to meet up him and Ant will be there for a weekend, also sorry for the week of no releases, many technical issues along with some behind the scenes stuff. Anyway, much love from all of us here at OpenCrag.

Finally back climbing hard again, managed to stick the Crux move on this beast at the local crag Nesscliffe the climbs a traverse on some Nasty crimps, it eases off after about half way but the start is just pure sustained pulling it’s called ‘little northumberland V9’ if you’re feeling up to it it’s absolutely fantastic! Especially with it being on the terrace, probably the most beautiful spot in Shropshire… Although I had a bit of a plateau with climbing, focusing on photography but I feel like I’ve found a good middle ground now. Getting the memory back of pulling hard and projecting, I forgot how much I missed it! #climbing #climbing_pictures_of_instagram #bouldering #opencrag #climber #climb #rockclimbing #nesscliffe #project #saynototheplateau (at Nesscliffe)

Great being out and exploring new areas, especially for some of us who have been years ago and get overly excited about boulder problems they did.
