Roadside Basic 7A+/V7 at Cromlech bouldering in north wales….

Roadside Basic 7A+/V7 at Cromlech bouldering in north wales. Weird climb really, I always tried to shy away from it as it was just so sharp but I thought it was finally time; went really smooth thanks to this training program we’ve started.

With the new release of the North Wales guide its gonna be some exciting climbs for us tourists to Wales, I always wondered about the other boulders around the popular crags but didn’t know the lines.

James Metzger on ‘Noel’s Arc V4/6B+’ over at Cromlech the other day. Asked Alistair if he could give me a dramatic looking spot; He didn’t disappoint.

Got that new NW guide everyone’s been praying for and it’s absolutely brilliant. Great descriptions to lines, completely rammed with problems and makes me want to move out there and get lost in the mountains!

Andy Myers on ‘Bus Stop V8/7B+’ In the Llanberis pass last week. Spotted a rock missing on the wall so we thought we’d grab this shot, turned out a load better than we thought.

Almost got it that day, probably get it in one or two more sessions, great climbing. Mad how such a small roof has a massive quality of problems. Put Roadside Basic V7/7A+ to bed as well which was nice; it was probably one of the sharpest lines I’ve done in a while. Reminds me of my Churnet Valley days way back.
