Trying to get a bit more friction out of this mini classic. Even though the brush is the wrong way around..
I always feel a bit bad when you see these kind of sloper climbs, the amount of chalk being used is sometimes off putting, but as long as it’s not super excessive it is helpful. I think British climbers are usually very good when it comes to conservation of our crag (Don’t frequently climb enough at foreign venues to have an input) But even then, it’s always good to just remember that we are the ones who clean and leave mess. It’s not some magical litter fairy who just drops random plastic about, no matter the size.
Other than the keep clean side of things, Zippy’s traverse took me by quite a surprise, reasonable holds, but the movements were completely core. I’ve not had to catch my breath after falling off a boulder in quite some time but Jesus, I needed more than a minute, which was hard as it was pretty chilly out.
